Zeilen en zeker wedstrijdzeilen is een krachtige metafoor voor de aansturing en continue verbetering van het contact center. We zetten koers naar een doel en doen alles wat in ons vermogen ligt om dat doel te realiseren en het liefste als eerste te finishen. Die strijd speelt zich niet alleen af op het water, maar begint al bij de voorbereiding.
Operational Excellence betekent dat de boot volledig zeilklaar is, en de crew idem dito. We trainen frequent, en kijken waar het beter of anders kan. We kennen de concurrentie en weten wat hun zwakke punten zijn.
Tijdens de wedstrijd blijven we alert en sturen we voortdurend bij, op basis van informatie uit veel verschillende bronnen. We communiceren ons suf. Zijn er obstakels, dan proberen we tussen de klippen door te zeilen. En als het tegenzit, zetten we alle zeilen bij, we gaan scherp aan de wind zeilen of proberen het beter, anders of slimmer te doen. Na elke race evalueren we en vieren de successen.
We gebruiken de boot niet alleen met ons eigen team. Jaarlijks organiseren wij voor onze klanten een zeilevenement ‘de Spring Cup’, zodat onze klanten ook kunnen ervaren wat wedstrijdzeilen doet voor een team. Daarnaast wordt de boot gebruikt voor de training ‘Actiegericht Teamcoachen’.
Wij geloven ook sterk in het ontwikkelen van talent en daarom ondersteunen wij Daphne van der Vaart, een jonge Laser zeilster met olympische ambitie.
